Gary Thiry

Physical Therapist

Gary Thiry received his Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University, California in 1973. Gary has extensive training in Orthopedics and Manual Therapy, including advanced training in Primal Reflex Release Techniques (PRRT). Gary is also certified in Blankenship Functional Capacity Evaluations and has training in Mckenzie Lumbar Spine Evaluation and treatment. He is certified in Pneumex Spinal Treatment utilizing the “un-weighting system”, Pneumex Postural Chair and Mapping Evaluation. He is also certified in Pneumex Scoliosis Evaluation and treatment. Opening Pisgah PT in 1991, Gary has been in private practice for 27 years. He is an outdoor enthusiast enjoying such activities as golf, tennis, racket-ball and hiking.

Jennifer Gabrynowicz

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Jenni has moved to the Asheville area within the last year and half from New York where she earned her doctorate of physical therapy degree at Mercy College. Jenni is experienced in dry needling, primal reflex release technique, Graston, and is a experienced vestibular therapist. She has a BFA in dance and enjoys a great deal of recreational activities including Pilates, yoga, hiking, dining out and hanging out with her family and friends.

Pam Cammisa

Physical Therapist Assistant

Pam has worked in the rehabilitation field, in one way or the other, all of her life. She first earned her Massage Therapy License when she was 18 yrs old by attending “The New of Natural Healing” in Tampa Fl. then furthered her education and skill sets; by attending and graduating from St. Pete Jr. College in 1993 to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has worked in all clinical settings and with all populations but prefers out patient therapy, where she gets to utilize her expertises in manual, hands on techniques, that help facilitate her patients healing.  She continues to work and hold licenses in both LMBT and PTA.

Vivian Oh

Physical Therapist Assistant

Vivian received her A.A.S. in Physical Therapy Assisting from South College - Asheville in 2016 and has been with Pisgah Physical therapy since April of 2017. Vivian serves as both a physical therapist assistant as well as a physical therapy aide. She thrives well in this fast paced and patient centered environment by being able to fill in wherever she is needed. Along with enjoying adventure and new experiences, Vivian also loves spending time with her son, Jonah, as well as the rest of her family and friends.

Kassandra Morales, LMBT

Physical Therapist Aide

Kassandra has acquired an intuitive and healing touch, and specializes in therapeutic and orthopedic modalities aimed at overall wellness and balancing within the body.  Kassandra offers an integrative and tailored massage session to each individual, including combinations of Swedish techniques, deep tissue, sports massage, neuromuscular, trigger point therapy, cupping, and Gua Sha. She will help guide you to reestablish the alignment of your mind body connection and leave you with a feeling of bliss after each session. Kassandra enjoys spending time with her son, hiking, camping adventures and has a love for travel to the different countries.

Nathan Thiry

Physical Therapist Assistant

Nathan obtained his A.A.A. as a Physical Therapist Assistant through South College in 2014. Nathan has been with Pisgah Physical Therapy for 4 years and excels in an out patient environment. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.

Liz Hager

Physical Therapist

Liz began working as a physical therapist in 2011 when she moved to the Asheville area just after graduating from Shenandoah University's doctorate of physical therapy program in Winchester, VA.  Since, she has had experience working in various settings to include: outpatient, acute, subacute, and inpatient rehab.  After 1.5+ years as a travel physical therapist working in the northwest, southwest, and southeast, she has returned to western NC to finally pursue her career as an outpatient physical therapist. In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and always planning the next ‘big’ adventure.

Diana Sapp

Front Desk Coordinator

With over 30 years of medical service experience Diana knows that the front desk is usually that first point of contact with patients and greets everyone with a upbeat tone and a friendly smile. She enjoys spending time with friends, family, and snuggles with her two cats Ellie and Nellie.

Pam Koponen

Billing Specialist

Pam is our billing & credentialing specialist.  She comes to us from Florida where she worked as a practice administrator for 25 years.  She is a graduate of State College of Florida with a degree in Business Medical Management.Pam loves spending time with her 3 Grandchildren and their parents when ever possible.She loves animals of all kinds and loves to walk her Miniature Dachshund (Mocha-Dot).
